Antioxidant-rich dates add natural sweetness to this simple granola recipe.
1 cup oats
1/2 cup nuts of choice
2 tablespoons chia seeds
2 tablespoons flax seeds
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup dates
1/2 cup water
Preheat oven to 350.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, mix together the oats, nuts, salt, chia and flax seeds and set aside.
In a food processor, mix dates and water until a paste forms.
Add date paste to the dry ingredients, and mix until everything is fully incorporated.
Place the granola on your baking sheet, and bake for around 25 minutes – stirring halfway through.
Serve with your favorite Lavva (shown here with Vanilla Lavva).
