What’s plant-based yogurt?
Plant-based yogurt means that our spoonably creamy yogurt has no dairy. Instead we use non-animal ingredients like Pili nuts, Coconut, Plantains, Cassavva, and Lime. But we take it one step further than just using plants; We don’t add any sugar, preservatives, artificial stuff, gums, or carrageenan. Just eight whole food ingredients lovvingly made by mother nature.
What’s a Pili Nut?
Pili nuts are a rich, buttery tree nut shaped like a long, slender almond with a taste described best as an earthy macadamia nut. Pili nuts are grown on Pili trees in tropical regions of Southeast Asia in volcanic soil. Thanks to this mineral rich soil, they’re nutrition powerhouses — boasting more vitamin E than any other nut plus iron, calcium, potassium, magnesium, zinc, amino acids, fiber, and vitamins C and A.
How is Lavva different than regular yogurt?

How do you make Lavva?
First we combine Pili nuts, coconut, plantains, organic, lime juice. Next we mix in a special blend of seven livve vegan probiotic cultures to ferment our plant-based yogurt and give it 50 billion probiotics per serving. We then add organic raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, and pineapple to make our fruit flavors. Once the yogurt is finished, we seal it in cups, put it on grocery store shelvves, and eagerly wait for you to spoon in.
What’s cassavva root powder?
Also referred to as yuca in the US, cassavva is a nutty-flavvored, starchy root vegetable that’s grown in tropical regions of the world, like South America. The most commonly consumed part of cassavva is its root, which can be ground into a fine powder. We use this powder to make our yogurt consistently creamy from spoonful to spoonful.
How much protein does Lavva have?
Lavva has 2g of naturally-occurring protein per servving since we use only plant-based, whole food ingredients to make our yogurt — and no processed protein powders or isloates.
Is Lavva pasteurized?

The best by date is stamped on the foil lid of each cup. This is the suggested sell by date, not the expiration date.
After purchasing Lavva, how long will it last until expiring?
The listed expiration for our yogurt is 60 days, but you should always use your best judgement. If it smells, looks, and tastes normal after that period — it’s probably fine to eat as our probiotic culture blend protects against spoilage.
